Bundeena Kayaks is based on the waterfront in the coastal township of Bundeena in southern Sydney (just 45 minutes drive from the centre of Sydney). Bundeena Kayaks operates 5 days (closed Mon and Tues - except during summer school holidays when we open 7 days) from 9am to 5pm. Bookings for all activities are essential.

Kayak hire is a great option if you would like to explore the river and park at your own pace. We have a range of single, double and triple enclosed and sit-on-top kayaks for hire / rental  suitable for beginners to advanced paddlers. More.......

Bundeena is situated on the southern shore of the Port Hacking Waterway in the south of Sydney. The Port Hacking is an estuary fed by numerous small creeks, many originating in the Royal National Park and ideally explored by kayak.
The Port Hacking is credited as being the least polluted waterway in Sydney and is home to some glorious stretches of sandy swimming beaches, waterfront picnic areas and wildlife galore!
A gem of the waterway is most definitely the pristine waters of Cabbage Tree Basin and creek. This area can only be reached on foot or aboard a kayak or small boat, so the area is quiet and beautiful. This area is only reached on a high run in tide. Check with us for more details.

Learn to Kayak Sessions
Our 2 hour Learn to Kayak Sessions are a fantastic start into the popular sport of kayaking. Learn basic kayaking and safety skills and enjoy a short paddle on the beautiful Port Hacking waterway. More...

Pre-requisites: no previous paddling experience is necessary however all participants should be competent swimmers and reasonably fit
Duration: 2 hours (includes 1 hour of tuition followed by 1 hour un-assisted kayak hire)  

Cost: $55 (no extra charge for gear hire)

When: every Saturday at 8am. Bookings are essential

PaddleFIT sessions run regularly at Cronulla, Grays Point and Bundeena. PaddleFIT is a great way to keep fit while enjoying the popular sport of kayaking. No experience is necessary, however all participants must be competent swimmers and in reasonable fit condition.
