Paddle Nature’s Masterpiece at Bundeena in southern Sydney
We are based on the waterfront at the Bonnie Vale picnic grounds (marked in most
street directories) in Bundeena. If arriving by ferry, we are a leisurely 15 minute
walk from the wharf. If driving, upon entering the township of Bundeena, turn at
the second street on your left.
Please note that the picnic grounds are a part of
the Royal National Park. If parking your car in this area you will need to purchase
a National Park Permit (approximately $11) from the National Park Visitor Centre
at Audley or from Bundeena Service Station. Alternatively you can park your car outside
the entrance to Bonnie Vale and walk (about 200 metres) to the beach front.
The Bonnie
Vale picnic and camping grounds are a great base for a day out. Go for a dip in the
sheltered clear waters of Simpson’s Bay,make sand castles on the beach, relax in
the grassy picnic grounds or bring along your fishing gear and catch your lunch!
Then you can cook up a storm using the provided gas BBQ facilities.
