Just some tit bits of information about our location to help you plan your trip to beautiful Bundeena
Bundeena is one of the southern most suburbs of Sydney, ideally located on the pristine Port Hacking waterway and bordered by the Royal National Park. To get to Bundeena you can either drive (takes about 25 minutes from Sutherland) or take the Cronulla Bundeena ferry service from Cronulla wharf (gorgeous trip taking about 20 mins and cost about $6 per adult each way).
Bundeena Kayaks is based right on the water in the Bonnie Vale picnic ground (about 15 mins walk from the ferry wharf). Take the Sea Breeze Lane turn-off. Parking in the picnic area is $12 per car or better still you can park on the streets of Bundeena for free!
The Bonnie Vale picnic grounds are located right next to a sheltered, swimming beach. There are plenty of free electric BBQs, change rooms, showers and toilets.
We suggest bringing along your own gazebo, fold out table and chairs so that you can set up the perfect base and spend a day enjoying the area.
