Bundeena Kayaks was established in 2001 by Bruce and Marnie Sigal who continue as the owner operators. With a long history of paddling on the Hacking River and a love of the great outdoors they followed their hearts and started their dream business. Still totally family owned and operated, they are now joined by 2 wonderful children Jonah and Eden and a crew of dedicated and passionate staff.

Growing from a small business with a rusty trailer, ancient commodore and 5 kayaks to one of the most established paddling businesses in Australia, a fleet of kayaks and paddle boards catering for up to 80 people and having given 1000s of customers the opportunity to enjoy this marvellous area.

Both the gorgeous area and years of dedicated marketing has put Bundeena and the Hacking River on the map as Sydney’s paddling paradise! Bruce, Marnie and the Crew continue to share our passion and knowledge of this beautiful area with visitors, who walk away holding memorable experiences and many of whom return year after year to enjoy this relaxed area and the friendly, hospitable hosts.

Committed to providing impeccable customer service, sustainable, safe and affordable adventures so that everyone has the opportunity to participate in, enjoy and learn about the area. All the business practices are undertaken to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism and we hold all required licences, accreditions, permits, insurances and qualifications – yes the list is long!

The base in the Bonnie Vale picnic and camping grounds is part of the Royal National Park and as such managed by National Parks and Wildlife Service. The business became one of the first tour operators licensed by Parks to operate in Royal National Park, and a few years later, the first company in the area to receive a 10 year Premium Eco-Pass license after passing a rigorous Advanced Eco Tourism accreditation process.

We welcome you to come and visit us and enjoy this lovely area. Remember if you are happy with the experience tell your friends and if you are not be sure to tell us! This keeps us on our toes and ensures we continue to provide the service that you deserve!
